Electrolytic Manganese Metal Flakes
Electrolytic manganese is a pure form of the metallic element manganese with content between 99.7%-99.9%. It is mainly used as an additive in the manufacturing of Steel. Apart from flakes, Manganese metal also comes in the form of powder, briquettes & lumps. It looks like iron. Irregular flakes. It is firm and crisp. One side is bright and the other is rough. It is silvery white to brown.
Electrolytic manganese metal flakes have been widely used in production of steel and stainless steel and non-Steel alloys. It plays important role in desulfurization, deoxidation and alloying. Manganese can increase strength, tenacity, abrasive resistance, and corrosion resistance of steel.
